After more than a decade as the premier data acquisition, display, and analysis software for high school and university science, DataStudio was superseded by a revolutionary and powerful software package PASCO Capstone.

With its new features this software will make your existing PASCO USB interfaces even more useful and will take advantage of the capabilities of the 850 Universal Interface.

DataStudio will no longer be updated and new customers should consider PASCO Capstone or SPARKvue software depending on their needs.

As of 10172017 PASCO no longer produces any interfaces that are backward compatible with DataStudio.

For current users of the now discontinued 750 or 500 interfaces, consider upgrading to the 850 Universal Interface or 550 Universal Interface and especially to the powerful PASCO Capstone software which can be used with your existing ScienceWorkshop interfaces.

Download the SPARK Science Learning System firmware update to your computer hard drive.

Copy the spark.upd file to the top level of the file structure of the USB Flash drive.

Connect the SPARK Science Learning System to an external power adapter.

Turn off the SPARK Science Learning System by holding down the power button for several seconds.

Connect the USB Flash drive to the SPARK Science Learning System.

Restart the SPARK Science Learning System.
